The signing ceremony underscored a shared commitment to advancing the Olympic Movement, expanding athlete development pathways, and strengthening collaboration across various areas of sport. Both organisations pledged to work closely in promoting sporting excellence, administrative development, and exchange opportunities that will benefit athletes, coaches, and officials.

President Mthethwa conveyed heartfelt appreciation for the warm hospitality extended by President Eric Lin and the Board of the Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee. He further acknowledged the presence of the Lesotho National Olympic Committee, recognising them as valued partners in the broader regional sports community.

Also present at the ceremony were EOCGA CEO Maxwell Jele and Treasurer Zakhele Zulu, whose participation highlighted the strategic significance of this moment for Eswatini’s sporting landscape.
