About Us​

The Eswatini Olympic and Commonwealth Games Association (EOCGA) affiliated to the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in 1972, when it was still the Swaziland Olympic Commonwealth Games Association (SOCGA).

The Eswatini Olympic and Commonwealth Games Association’s unique and global remit is Olympic and Commonwealth Sport. Our mission is to inspire pride and excellence in all Emaswati. The Olympic Summer, Winter and Youth Games, Commonwealth Games and Commonwealth Youth Games and the Africa Games are all part of our international and domestic mandate. We are non-profit and rely heavily on commercial and other funding partnerships as we promote sport and the Olympic values and help create Eswatini history. As a membership organisation, we comprise of more than 20 sporting organisations and as such, we are proud to represent the Olympic and commonwealth sporting in Eswatini.

The Eswatini Olympic and Commonwealth Association generally operates on a four-year planning cycles (quadrennials). The objective of the 4-year plan is to transport the organisation ever closer to its desired state as articulated by the vision statement.
