The second edition of the Sports Administration Course is back by popular demand following an outcry from member bodies for its return.

This was confirmed by Eswatini Olympic and Commonwealth Games Association Chief Executive Officer, Maxwell Jele. The confirmation was made at the Mountain View hotel in Mbabane on the 15 of May 2024. As per the outcry of our affiliates, an impressive 61 participants have registered for the second edition of the course.

This reflects a significant (42.6%) increase from the 35 which completed the course last year in October 2023. From the yester year group, 9 passed with distinctions, 22 passes and only 4 failures. The course will run for two weeks with sessions conducted on weekends only.

The CEO also mentioned that the board had found it imperative to host yet another session that will be followed by level 2 which will now have a larger pool before the end of the year. Thereafter both groups shall have a graduation ceremony.

Four headteachers from each region shall be part of the course as well as a special international guest in Morake Releaka from Lesotho. This has been made possible by EOCGAs MoU with the landlocked Kingdom.

National Olympic Academy Chairman, Victor Mavikane Dlamini emphasized on 100 percent attendance for this course and urged participants to implore the seriousness that the course deserves.
