The Eswatini Olympic and Commonwealth Games Association (EOCGA) is proud to host seasoned sports management consultant and Olympic movement stalwart, Mr. Robert Mutsauki, for a strategic planning workshop taking place this weekend at Orion Hotel in Pigg’s Peak.

Having arrived in the Kingdom on Thursday, Mr. Mutsauki brings with him a wealth of experience in Olympic sports governance, having successfully led similar engagements across the continent, including in Uganda, Gambia, Zambia, Malawi, South Sudan, Kenya, and his home country, Zimbabwe.

These nations have seen notable improvements in the performance and organization of their Olympic structures—many achieving reputable Olympic and regional Games showings. This success is a strong testament to the lasting impact of Mutsauki’s facilitative role in developing multi-year strategic plans and cultivating good governance within National Olympic Committees (NOCs).

This weekend’s workshop, convened by EOCGA, brings together heads of National Federations (NFs) and key stakeholders in Eswatini’s sports ecosystem. The goal is to develop a shared strategic direction for the advancement of Olympic sport in the country, ensuring that governance, sustainability, and athlete development remain top priorities.

EOCGA CEO Maxwell Jele noted:

“We are honoured to welcome Mr. Mutsauki to Eswatini. His proven track record across Africa is exactly what we need as we lay the groundwork for long-term Olympic success.”

The engagement underscores Eswatini’s commitment to aligning with global standards of sports administration and performance excellence, while learning from best practices on the continent.
