The Eswatini Olympics and Commonwealth Games Association was fortunate enough to have been graced by His Excellency, the Prime Minister Cleopas Dlamini for the official opening of its headquarters.
Speaking during the official opening of the EOCGAs head offices, the encouraged the association to consider diversification when it came to sports with particular reference to non-football codes to be given the support that football has had over the years.
He further urged sports administrators to ensure priority is placed on athletes because they are the ones who partake in these various competitions. He added that the allocation of land should not only for the development of offices but as well as enhancing the development of sports as a whole.
He concluded by applauding His Majesty King Mswati III for the donating the vast piece land to the association. ” I would like to thank the King for supporting sports, having donated the piece of land by means of making sure that sports develop in the country”.
