The Eswatini Olympic and Commonwealth Games Association Chief Executive Officer, Maxwell Jele joined 48 other National Olympic country representatives in Hammamet, Tunisia where they converged on the final details surrounding the African Beach Games slated for June 24-30. The meeting was facilitated by ANOCA, the Local Organizing Committee (LOC),and the Tunisia National Olympic Committee.
The CEO mentioned that Eswatini has earmarked beach volleyball, beach teqball and open water swimming for for this year’s participation. He went on further to state that at they will be guided by this meeting in terms of which sporting codes to qualify and that the Board of EOCGA will approve the selected team on May 20th during it’s quarterly meeting.
He also used this very meeting as an opportunity to hand over a copy of EOCGA’s special edition magazine to ANOCA President, Mustapha Berraf which was developed as part of the recently held double celebrations.
