The Eswatini Olympic and Commonwealth Games Association (EOCGA) has revealed the squad to represent Eswatini in the upcoming Commonwealth Youth Games slated for August 4-11 in Trinidad and Tobago.
These positive news were revealed by the associations CEO Maxwell Jele during a press briefing held at the head offices in Lobamba. The CEO mentioned that only two sporting codes will participate in these Games and those sporting codes are swimming and athletics.
Representing the country in the swimming category will be Hayley Hoy (female) and Damien de Souza (male) and for the athletics category, the country will be represented by Mayibongwe Vilakati (male) and Sbusisiwe Mabuza (female). The small team will be led by team manager, Zama Tsabedze and the Chef de mission will be EOCGA board member, Lee-Ann Young.
