Eswatini’s fastest, Sibusiso Bruno Matsenjwa has been awarded a Commonwealth Certificate for his stellar performance in the last edition of the Commonwealth games, the B2022 Games. Matsenjwa managed to make it to the finals of the Men’s 200m where he managed to attain position 7/80 in this category. Presenting to him the certificate was Eswatini Olympic and Commonwealth Games (EOCGA) President Adam Mthethwa and EOCGA Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Maxwell Jele. The President congratulated Bruno for his achievements and articulated it to his training programme to be yielding the desired results whilst giving EOCGA confidence in its route to improving athletes in their competitions. He further mentioned that he was surely an inspiration to the up coming generation of athletes. Sought for comment; Matsenjwa said it felt great to be appreciated for such achievements, and that such would encourage him to work even harder. He concluded by urging younger athletes to behave well and that it is all doable with dedication and hard work.
