The Eswatini Olympic and Commonwealth Games Association (EOCGA) Vice President Zakhele Dlamini and Chief Executive Officer, Maxwell Jele are currently in Paris, France for the 2024 Olympic Games Chef de Mission Seminar.
The six-day seminar which started on the 13-19 July is aimed at assessing the host city’s readiness for next year’s global showpiece. During their stay in Paris, they will have an opportunity to engage with the Paris 2024 team as well as other National Olympic Committee (NOC) representatives from all over the world.
The EOCGA CEO will then proceed to Switzerland, where the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Headquarters is situated on a three-day working visit. On this visit he is expected to meet the leadership where he will be acquainted with all the programmes and opportunities that are offered by the IOC.
He is also lined up to present a proposal on behalf of EOCGA on a sustainability project at the EOCGA head offices. The CEO is expected back in the kingdom on 25 July 2023.
